byjaye’s music transcends boundaries, weaving together elements of alt-pop, rnb and indie rock to create his unique sound, that has been making waves from it’s Western Sydney homebase. At the start of 2024 byjaye hit factory reset, pulling all his music from the internet and starting again with a blank canvas. Now just five singles in he’s found a new flow, and it proves to be working, selling out his debut headline show in Sydney earlier this year. byjaye’s artistry has captivated audiences across the world, earning him a spot as one of Australia’s most exciting new artists.

As the oldest sibling of four, with creative parents, byjaye was constantly surrounded by music and arts from a young age. Growing up listening to a mixture of rock, punk and hip hop, it was never about the genre but how the music made him feel. In his teenage years, byjaye sharpened his craft, performing at open mic nights in pubs around Sydney where he found his voice. Over these formative years, byjaye evolved his musical approach and practice, blending honest storytelling with his infectious, high energy live performance, always leaving shows with a big handful of new fans.

byjaye’s music draws comparisons to artists like Dominic Fike, Remi Wolf, and The Kid Laroi, blending catchy melodies with introspective lyrics that leave a lasting impact. His recent achievements include showcasing at Brisbane’s BIGSOUND music festival and industry conference, receiving placements on global Spotify playlists such as 'Fresh Finds’ and gaining airplay on top radio networks including KIIS FM, NOVA, and triple j. byjaye has also gone onto captivating audiences worldwide with his recent breakout success on US college radio.
